Fixing My Yamaha Digital Piano

My digital piano had some issue, it played beats by itself, probably because my maid used Colin to wipe and clean it. It was a critical time now that I have my students preparing for exams and the piano is quite expensive. So, I decided to get it serviced. Yamaha quoted about 6k + other charges to fix this. I felt this was overpriced. Also, they would change the entire board plus transporting it in my car was impossible.

Soon I learnt Martin, the violinist who lived just down the road repaired keyboards. So I got in touch with him. It took us a couple of hours and ₹200 worth micro switches to replace. The keyboard is working perfectly as of now!
