Dawg!
Denzil is going back to the Netherlands tonight! So he called me (last night), to accompany him to IDC for breakfast! He wanted to satisfy his Masala Dosa and podi Idli cravings!
So we set out early, at 6:30ish as planned 7:45 to IDC. Andy joined us. We drank coffee, ate some amazing breakfast.
After we stepped out, our eyes fell upon this dawg!
The pup was shivering.. and had this “I need help” “I’m cuter than them bitches” eyes. We really didn’t know what to do. People walking around at the park told us, it was abandoned and had difficulty to walk. Some people even asked us to “please do something, it needs help”
Someone had abandoned the pup at the park maybe in hopes that someone will rescue her. “Compassionately heartless” quipped Denzil
I reached out to everyone I knew who had some experience with rescuing dogs! Tanya, who was pretending to sleep, ignored our calls, but we called her mom to “wake” her up. I spoke to her while Denzil sent a picture of the puppy to her on WhatsApp. Now, Tanya couldn’t refuse (checkmate) and agreed to show up.
Meanwhile Denzil got some water and biscuits to feed her and “gendered” the pup. “MALE!!”
Meanwhile, Andy picked up a wide awake Tanya with no makeup! She came and carried the puppy.
The vet had a look at her and suggested iv and some injection. Denzil took an auto home to take his dad to a clinic.
By now the dawg pooped some blood, so “she” will need regular visits to the vet for the next few days.
Now she’s pooping in Tanya’s room. I tactically avoided Tanya’s mom and drove back home.
I’ll end this post with some respect and gratitude to Tanya. Now go follow her and buy her earrings here.
