Shaping future musicians

I’ve been challenging my students by enrolling them in the Trinity Exams. Each of them is putting in tremendous time and effort, and I’m already seeing great results.

I see my role as a catalyst; while they do the hard work, I ensure they practice diligently and guide their progress. Nothing can stop a self-motivated individual.

I’m truly inspired by their promising talent and super excited about the exams!

I may be a bit of an asshole to many others, but I know I’ve done something worthwhile in shaping some future musicians. Some fulfillment there…sigh! 

 That’s a responsibility I don’t take lightly.

Dawg!

Denzil is going back to the Netherlands tonight! So he called me (last night), to accompany him to IDC for breakfast! He wanted to satisfy his Masala Dosa and podi Idli cravings!  So we set out early, at  6:30ish as planned  7:45 to IDC. Andy joined us. We drank coffee, ate some amazing breakfast.  After we stepped out, our eyes fell upon this dawg! The pup was shivering.. and had this “I need help” “I’m cuter than them bitches” eyes. We really didn’t know what to do. People walking around at the park told us, it was abandoned and had difficulty to walk. Some people even asked us to “please do something, it needs help” Someone had abandoned the pup at the park maybe in hopes that someone will rescue her. “Compassionately heartless” quipped Denzil  I reached out to everyone I knew who had some experience with rescuing dogs! Heal

When was the last time you said,  “What I did was wrong” before blaming someone else? It takes integrity, humility, and courage to admit when you’re wrong. But doing so can bring peace and help you move on without bitterness. We all make mistakes, we’re human, not robots. We mess up sometimes, and that’s okay. Every action has consequences. We just have to face them and take responsibility for our choices. It's tough to live with guilt and shame, but you’ve got to forgive yourself and move forward. If you choose to repeat the same mistake, that’s your decision!, but be aware, there  will  be consequences. Growth only begins the moment you stop running from the truth and start owning your story. Along with being kind to yourself you must be honest as well. That’s when healing begins.
