Obsessions!

I’m coming across a lot of grown ass men buying hot-wheels. This is more like grown ass women collecting Barbie dolls! God bless our generation! But I get it, I wanted the Mystery Machine edition as well. Limited editions are always sought after. Shoes, bags, cars you name it! 

For a short while, I was obsessed with gaming, PUBG. My friends and I did it to kill time during Covid. I got addicted and eventually grew out of the gaming! I guess we all have our obsessions! 

I am also meeting people, who are making business out of their obsessions. I have friends who are herpetologists, who take people on nature walks catching snakes, scorpions and anything nocturnal. 

I discovered my main obsession quite early! It’s music.

Dawg!

Denzil is going back to the Netherlands tonight! So he called me (last night), to accompany him to IDC for breakfast! He wanted to satisfy his Masala Dosa and podi Idli cravings!  So we set out early, at  6:30ish as planned  7:45 to IDC. Andy joined us. We drank coffee, ate some amazing breakfast.  After we stepped out, our eyes fell upon this dawg! The pup was shivering.. and had this “I need help” “I’m cuter than them bitches” eyes. We really didn’t know what to do. People walking around at the park told us, it was abandoned and had difficulty to walk. Some people even asked us to “please do something, it needs help” Someone had abandoned the pup at the park maybe in hopes that someone will rescue her. “Compassionately heartless” quipped Denzil  I reached out to everyone I knew who had some experience with rescuing dogs! Heal

When was the last time you said,  “What I did was wrong” before blaming someone else? It takes integrity, humility, and courage to admit when you’re wrong. But doing so can bring peace and help you move on without bitterness. We all make mistakes, we’re human, not robots. We mess up sometimes, and that’s okay. Every action has consequences. We just have to face them and take responsibility for our choices. It's tough to live with guilt and shame, but you’ve got to forgive yourself and move forward. If you choose to repeat the same mistake, that’s your decision!, but be aware, there  will  be consequences. Growth only begins the moment you stop running from the truth and start owning your story. Along with being kind to yourself you must be honest as well. That’s when healing begins.
