Nostslgia - Watch - long ass walk - carols.
The Bangalore weather yesterday and right now brings in some good memories from the past. I played some music and chilled at home yesterday, reminiscing the good times I had with a special someone. Maybe it was bad timing or maybe it was just wrong. I made peace that she has her own little family to look after and care for and I should never stand in her way of progress and decided to never get in touch with her. My heart felt very heavy.
I felt lonely, and the weather wasn’t helping! I reached out to a few hinge matches, responding to them. But it all felt incomplete.
Then I heard a doorbell, it was Andy then Solomon joined in. I had to finish my workout. I worked out at home while they hung out, and I walked indoors. We decided to go caroling, but Solomon said he wanted to take a nap. (Poor chap is losing sleep over his “Canadian GF” and late night koochikooing. Andy is also talking to someone, a potential wife! lol)
So I decided to go to Orion to pick up an Apple Watch series 10 with Andy. I wanted to reward myself for taking up this challenge, 75 hard. I only have 5 more days to go! So we drove with Sebin, I picked up my watch, drove back, woke up sleepy Solomon and drove to Commander Nityanand uncle’s house for carols.
The carol party was stuck with a drunk driver and there was a delay and I needed to get my steps in, so I convinced Andy and Solomon that we go for a walk. It was still drizzling, we borrowed 2 umbrellas from uncle’s family and we walked around the lake. The gate would close at 7:00 and the time was now 6:30. We walked and walked, half way through it was dark, the road was muddy and slippery, and was never ending. I checked maps and noticed we had to cover the same distance again. It took an hour to complete 5.5 kms!
Now the gate was further away. We found a locked gate and decided to jump that! Andy climbed first, I next followed by Solo. It was almost 12 feet tall and quite some adventure.
Uncle sent his son Kevin to pick us up, but we decided to walk back in the rain. We did make some memories this carols.
We collapsed into uncle’s sofa. I had eaten very less, anticipating the Carol treats. Uncle’s family offered us some pork, idlis and biryani. I ate according to what my coach suggested!
Life’s awesome, thanks to Andy and Solomon.
It’s raining again today. And my day begins in 3 2 1…
