Christmas Camp 2

The highlight was the trek today. Zui lead all the kids through the forest. We tracked the poop, hair and prints left by leopards, jungle fowl, bears and porcupines. It was amazing. I was at the back of the line, making sure all the kids were safe. Durga took off her shoes, stepped on a cactus and bled a lot. I helped her pull out the cactus and we used tissues to clean up and she wore her shoes again and was very brave. She had some 10 spots with deep stabs.  

After the trek, the kids made a film. I took a nap and woke up for lunch, and soaked my feet in the pond for some fish  spa.

And then it was time to sing carols. When the kids took a break, Zui and I jammed and it was amazing.  Kirtana and Kuki asked us to form a band.. and she can kick my ass on guitar! I have to practise more! We stayed up talking about mushroom businesses and the scene until 12:00 and I went to bed.

 I met with an accident today! To save my new bike I used my leg to cushion its fall! I have a crack on my middle toe bone! I had gone to Saptagiri hospital initially, the first doctor who operated on me was a student, he was learning to stitch on my leg. During the stitch, I insisted that a real doctor do this. Then the next guy there tried adjusting my bone back over the stitch without knowing that it’s stitched. I was in soo much pain.  Then we decided to go to Baptist hospital, I got admitted and got my surgery done. Atleast I saved my bike.

Snow!

I know it’s hot and humid, But why do I have cold feet?  Butterflies in my stomach,  I’m feeling all that again.  I know I’m in love.  She’s an artist,  Paints sceneries and teaches me the art too!  Organised, clarity in speech,  My “crush”  Then I noticed the ring,  There was perhaps a man in her life?  I secretly wished for someone, just like her.  Then it snowed, just on the inside, My heart felt heavy A song left my lips,  I prayed, I manifested!  Now I wait.
