The Bryan Adams Show

I finally got the chance to watch and listen to Bryan Adams, the first English artist I ever heard!

I met Andy at mall of Asia, I had 2 Gold tickets. On our way we heard Solomon also got a ticket, Platinum! Andy and I beat the traffic and got there early. He bought me a Jetros chicken burger. We went through the checks and I sneaked in some chips, for the fun of it. Andy wanted to somehow get to the vip section, we found a crew member who agreed to take us for 500 bucks each. 

He told us to wait for him, but we saw the path he took and we followed him, without him noticing, soon were at the VIP section unchecked! We didn’t like the sound up front so decided to be in the middle. There was no phone signal, but somehow we found the needle in the haystack i.e. Solomon amongst the crowd. 

My friend Hemanth’s band Best Kept Secret opened for Bryan Adams. I caught up with him after his set.

 Then the show began. It was nice to watch and hear the songs that once blasted off my cassette player. Andy, Solo and I, sang along and had so much fun. 

The guitarist Keith Scott was amazing! He nailed the guitar parts. Bryan Adams sang 18 till I die, Run to You, Heaven, Everything I Do, Please forgive me, Summer of 69 & Here I am. All these songs took me back! 

After the show, there was a huge traffic block it took some time for us to get back. We entertained each other with jokes. Solo’s GF, Esther kept us company through the drive. Andy drove us to New Bel, they wanted to eat, So Leon grill it was!! We hung out till 1:30. Got no cabs back, finally Solo got lucky finding an auto. 

I also got some Tshirts for my niece and me. 

Somehow, all the bands whose guitar solos I covered on my Instagram page are coming to India. I am super excited for Mr Big in Feb! Tickets are booked. 

And friends and family are landing back from US, Canada, Amsterdam and Australia this season. Let the catch up begin!

 I met with an accident today! To save my new bike I used my leg to cushion its fall! I have a crack on my middle toe bone! I had gone to Saptagiri hospital initially, the first doctor who operated on me was a student, he was learning to stitch on my leg. During the stitch, I insisted that a real doctor do this. Then the next guy there tried adjusting my bone back over the stitch without knowing that it’s stitched. I was in soo much pain.  Then we decided to go to Baptist hospital, I got admitted and got my surgery done. Atleast I saved my bike.

Snow!

I know it’s hot and humid, But why do I have cold feet?  Butterflies in my stomach,  I’m feeling all that again.  I know I’m in love.  She’s an artist,  Paints sceneries and teaches me the art too!  Organised, clarity in speech,  My “crush”  Then I noticed the ring,  There was perhaps a man in her life?  I secretly wished for someone, just like her.  Then it snowed, just on the inside, My heart felt heavy A song left my lips,  I prayed, I manifested!  Now I wait.
