Backyard!

 I cleaned the backyard today, removed some weed growing and stacked the compost pile with mom, cleared pumpkin patch. I pulled down some small orange coconuts and drank water from it. I worked till I was shaking.




I did 45 squats and had a long warm shower then I completed my piano assignments. 

Kirtana had called me to the farm to open for percussionist Karthik Mani. So I went there, met a lot of people from Greece. They seem to be enjoying our traditional food and culture. They invited me to their booze party tomorrow as they will be done with the course tomorrow, but I have a lot of pending classes from today, rescheduled to tomorrow, so I passed the offer. 



Ujwal was with me, I bought him a beer on the way back and drove towards home. We will stop for dinner somewhere.

Leg > Bike

 I met with an accident today! To save my new bike I used my leg to cushion its fall! I have a crack on my middle toe bone! I had gone to Saptagiri hospital initially, the first doctor who operated on me was a student, he was learning to stitch on my leg. During the stitch, I insisted that a real doctor do this. Then the next guy there tried adjusting my bone back over the stitch without knowing that it’s stitched. I was in soo much pain.  Then we decided to go to Baptist hospital, I got admitted and got my surgery done. Atleast I saved my bike.

I know it’s hot and humid, But why do I have cold feet?  Butterflies in my stomach,  I’m feeling all that again.  I know I’m in love.  She’s an artist,  Paints sceneries and teaches me the art too!  Organised, clarity in speech,  My “crush”  Then I noticed the ring,  There was perhaps a man in her life?  I secretly wished for someone, just like her.  Then it snowed, just on the inside, My heart felt heavy A song left my lips,  I prayed, I manifested!  Now I wait.

Lull

 6:14 am! I took a shower and got ready for class at 7:00 am! But the class got cancelled. So I ended up playing the piano and guitar and singing some old songs.  Then I lost the mood to play the instrument and came back to bed sweating! Then I listened to a lot of Tamil songs, some of which I want to arrange on guitar. Maybe I was listening to a lot of melodic sad songs, the voice lulled me to a semi sleep state.  Then it was class time from 4:00 till 8:30 pm. Long day.
