The uncle at Uncle Kitchen

Uncle Kitchen is a restaurant near where I live, and I’ve grown up watching uncle run this restaurant with utmost detail and care. The restaurant has been consistent in following a routine, staying organized, friendly staff, cleanliness and all sorts of organized activities. 

What’s even more impressive is that uncle will sometimes replace the staff, when they are on leave, with himself. He can cook, take care of billing, clean, wait tables, everything! 

He also gets the place cleaned with soap and scrubs the kitchen at 11:30 pm after they close, every single day (which is not seen in many restaurants).

It’s his leadership and willingness to replace any staff that gives him the edge to maintain the quality of the restaurant. He is able to rise to the occasion holding it all together! Hats off to him.

 I met with an accident today! To save my new bike I used my leg to cushion its fall! I have a crack on my middle toe bone! I had gone to Saptagiri hospital initially, the first doctor who operated on me was a student, he was learning to stitch on my leg. During the stitch, I insisted that a real doctor do this. Then the next guy there tried adjusting my bone back over the stitch without knowing that it’s stitched. I was in soo much pain.  Then we decided to go to Baptist hospital, I got admitted and got my surgery done. Atleast I saved my bike.

I know it’s hot and humid, But why do I have cold feet?  Butterflies in my stomach,  I’m feeling all that again.  I know I’m in love.  She’s an artist,  Paints sceneries and teaches me the art too!  Organised, clarity in speech,  My “crush”  Then I noticed the ring,  There was perhaps a man in her life?  I secretly wished for someone, just like her.  Then it snowed, just on the inside, My heart felt heavy A song left my lips,  I prayed, I manifested!  Now I wait.

Lull

 6:14 am! I took a shower and got ready for class at 7:00 am! But the class got cancelled. So I ended up playing the piano and guitar and singing some old songs.  Then I lost the mood to play the instrument and came back to bed sweating! Then I listened to a lot of Tamil songs, some of which I want to arrange on guitar. Maybe I was listening to a lot of melodic sad songs, the voice lulled me to a semi sleep state.  Then it was class time from 4:00 till 8:30 pm. Long day.
