When work done, then reward

My niece loves watching cartoons, and we encourage it because her vocabulary has developed from watching these cartoons. But cartoons all day and no work done leads to problems, she doesn’t have “time” to do math or read. 

We must reward ourselves with the things we like after work is done, then there is a balance between fun and work. All work and no fun is bad as well. So balance is key.
