I don’t lend money to my friends or family. When they ask I give it based on their needs or if I have money to spare. I like friends who don’t ask for money. But recently I was going through a tough time financially. The pandemic had just begun and all my classes had to stop. I was praying about it and I got a call from my friend Shoba, she said she will send some money to me and I couldn’t believe it! I was sent ₹15000 for the next few months by someone I did not know through my friend Shoba. This was not a loan, this was free! This kept me going until I was back on my feet again. I may not be able to donate such a hefty amount, but this has definitely opened me up to be kind. Do not lend, give freely if you can.

 The only thing I pray for now is that God gives me enough strength to face whatever situation I’m put to. There’s so much faith now to just let go and curse all sickness and be blessed. May God give you strength as well. Heal well. 

Recorded this song with Solomon on guitars, also made videos that can go as reels. This was very challenging and we practiced for hours to get it right. Very haunting melody, definitely one of my Tamil favorites. 

 Andy, Solo and I caught up at BEL road today. We went to Glens bake house and polar bear. We shared a lot of jokes, the funniest was about Jayanth uncle complaining about the church live stream having no audio multiple times when his tv was itself on mute. I drove today! Good day.

After many years I had a long guitar jam with my friend Solomon. I also learnt a new John Mayer technique from him, I’ve been trying to play John’s music for ever. His RH technique is unique. We also spoke about how we learn songs. Good times. 

I read some classical guitar today, to prepare for teaching my student Durga, next week. Playing this brought back memories of BSM, #32 Coles Road and my guitar teacher Kenny. I used to be early for my lessons. Never late, I would end up taking a room upstairs practicing for the class. Good memories of Mrs. Aruna Sunderlal, Shanti, Carol George and a few others. 

 Fixed Natalia’s cycle today for her to learn cycling. She needs some outdoor activities to keep her going. I wish she had people who helped her everyday. Today I happened to take a break from teaching after my dental appointment. 

Today is a relatively free day. So instead of sleeping around watching Netflix, I’m gonna get my place cleaned and organized. Lot of work today!   

I decided to choose Dr.Tina as my dentist. She took time to talk and explain the procedure in detail. I need a gum surgery done immediately. Now that’s a lot of pain! 

Spoke to Sam from church today. Learnt a lot about the work culture and politics at work now a days. We also spoke about family and the importance of settling down earlier! 

 It’s a definite win win for all the insurance companies, they just provide insurance to healthy individuals. There’s nothing for the sick ones. The ones that are available comes with a lot of confusing clauses and expenses. The irony! 

I find the most energy after I have just woken up. And by noon I’m down. A nap helps often. Of late, I have been pushing my body through strict diets and routine. It gets the work done. The energy, I have, and the time are finite. I need all the energy! I need the time. 

 I took mom to an orthopedic today. She has arthritis on her knees. She has a limp when she walks. It’s so scary to watch your parents get old. 

I’m on antibiotics with an inflamed gum. I keep my oral hygiene in check and still I had another inflamed gum. It hurts like a bitch. I hope it gets better soon. 

Just saw girls getting violent on a video in Instagram! These girls can fight! Must encourage strong, independent women! Keep kicking it girls!   

Why do we have Nightmares? You wake from one,  Just to be in another! 

Tired  I’m burning!  My fuel will run out someday,  But at-least I burnt to show the way Burn well!

Today was ”love feast” at VBS, where we share food. Sahana aunty made some delicious mango curry. Sweet and sour and spice and all that flavor! It was yummy! 

Just praying people around me don’t suffer and have the most peaceful death! Watching people getting old and having a lot of health problems and having to live a lonely life is scary! 

 Saw this creepy movie on Sony Liv. It was so creepy for me I muted the volume and saw the ending. I don’t do well with suspense. I like crime but not too creepy. Or do I like it! Why did I watch it? 

Watching this series brings back memories of Breaking Bad. I’ve been hooked on this show and remember sleepless nights watching it. The character of Saul Goodman stuck! His sinister ways of juggling the legal system was quite interesting. I’m looking forward to the next episode of Better Call Saul!

Spoke to an old friend today. We spoke about other friends and what all our lives have become, and how the younger generation is doing. Times are changing! We are much older and wiser, closer to death than we were.

VBS begins tomorrow and honestly, it’s not like the past years. I think the kids know everything and don’t have the mind of wonder anymore. Maybe they are distracted with all their gadgets, or they don’t think they are around cool adults anymore!

 Once up on a time, it is the same thing for me lol I think I did lol I just saw that you got the same key lol I was like oh ok lol lol I don’t think I can do that anymore but I’m just watching it and I have a good job and I’m just doing good things and I’m doing ok I’m not sure what I can have done for me lol I have to go figure something that is fine now I’m not sure what time I can do that lol I have a few questions and I’m not working lol I just saw that I have a good one lol I just saw that I saw bro lol yeah yeah I know it’s not creepy but I’m just not getting married. 

I covered this song from Kumbalangi Nights on my Instagram reels today. This song came naturally to me without much effort! I must arrange more of these songs, everyone seems to be familiar with these. 

It rides like a stallion in the wind Aimlessly  I try to tame  With no success  I can gently ride  But I’m not owning  The stallion running in the wind. 

 My friend Johnin invited me to Australia, I’m planning to go there sometime soon. Need to plan the visa and book tickets! Here I go! 

 Looks like there’s gonna be a market crash soon. I’m planning to stay invested! Let’s hope it corrects quickly and I can benefit from the dip! Maybe I can buy a few more of the good stocks I’m holding. 

My friends and I started playing Among Us again. Solo, Andy, Camy, Vridhi, Satish and Reeko all joined in for the game. I had a few good games! Fun! 

 Just back home from a video shoot for Mr. Rajesh. I had to mime my guitar playing. Ahron was there with lights cameras and lenses! I think I did my best. Waiting for the release.
